Originally from Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, seventeen year-old Sugehitled Rodriguez is currently a senior at New Haven Academy High School. This June she graduates as class valedictorian and will attend the University of Connecticut majoring in Biology. Her ambitions in life are to attend medical school and become a plastic surgeon.

Every summer she volunteers with 'Arts and Ideas New Haven', and she is in the process of creating an information session in the community about the Congolese women survivors.
